Frequently Asked Question

Run a 'Full Scan' on your Workstation's Antivirus Software
Last Updated about a month ago

Synopsis

Often, when you click on a malicious email or website, you either receive an email from Microsoft stating that "Your device is out of compliance" or you may be concerned that your workstation may be compromised.

To help bring the workstation back into compliance or to help provide peace-of-mind that your workstation hasn't been compromised, you can run a virus scan with Microsoft Defender on your workstation.

Procedure

To run a Full Virus Scan on your workstation:
1) Open the program Windows Security from your Windows Start Menu;
